Custom Woodworking
Every piece of cabinetry and furniture is crafted with attention to detail in our shop. We enjoy each unique project designed to meet our client's needs. We carefully select every piece of wood throughout your project. The results are a durable, lasting product that can be enjoyed for generations. Only the highest grade materials and finishes are used to complete your project. We use locally sourced lumber, formaldehyde free sheet goods, and low VOC finishes whenever possible.
Our Process
We will need to meet with you either at your place, job site or at our office by appointment. During this consultation, we will talk about the initial design, including measurements, species of wood, finish, location of the project, type of hardware, and more. We also want to make sure we can provide the item you are looking for.
Consultation can include one or more of the following:
- a rough sketch drawn by you
- a rendering by others
- a photo from a magazine or book
- a viewing of the actual piece of furniture or cabinet to be matched
- a visit to the location where the item is to be placed or built-in
- a sketch or computer rendering by us
We will create the initial design using your ideas as well as our professional opinion. After all design elements are completed, we will give you a firm estimate of cost.
Once you've approved the design and cost proposal, we will begin create your project. Since every project is custom made, a time estimate will be set.
